We are Montessori Connections
Our Mission is to serve the J.J. Hill Community by offering learning opportunities on the topics of Montessori education, Montessori philosophy and being a Montessori parent.
Our Guidelines are as follows:
- All meeting will be held at J.J. Hill
- All Topics will have a relation to Montessori
- There will be a Montessori professional present at all meetings to field questions.
For 4 years we have been developing the group that is now known as Montessori Connections. It was a book group that developed into a group that read and discuss articles on the Montessori topic. Our goal is to reach people who are interested in the Montessori Topic, not only through readings but through discussion. We meet 7 out of 9 months of the school year. As stated above in our guidelines, there is always a Montessori Professional available at each gathering.
We also are providing a Parent Resource Cart. This is available, currently in the J. J. Hill Library. New materials will be added as they are acquired. They are free for check out. There is a sign up sheet attached to the cart. Please respect the fact that these have been purchased by J. J. Hill PTO and are property of J. J. Hill. We have very little right now, so enjoy the materials and then return them in an appropriate time frame. The check out time is a month (max).
Please spread the word and attend as you are able. We would love for this group to not only continue at J. J. Hill, but to grow and thrive.
