Duncan, Catharine

I have been teaching at JJ Hill since 2004.  Prior to that time, I taught in private Montessori schools, worked with public special education programs, & spent time in the Peace Corps as a teacher trainer.  I have my Master’s Degree in Early Childhood & Elementary Education with Antioch University.  

Our classroom is a happy place where your child will feel comfortable & supported as they make new friends & stretch their learning muscles.  Together, my assistant & I guide children to their highest learning potential.  As a Montessori school, we believe in "hands on" learning & in the education of the whole child - personal & social skills as well as academic areas.

 When I’m not teaching, I am happily spending time cooking, jogging, or reading.
