Hello! 

My name is Judy Jacobson. I have been a Montessori educator in St. Paul Public Schools for over thirty-three years. I was recruited and hired to launch the Montessori elementary program at Nokomis Montessori on the east side. I have served as an upper elementary educator at JJ Hill for the past sixteen years. Prior to my work with St. Paul Public Schools, I worked in the private sector as a Montessori Children’s House educator for fifteen years. In addition, I have served as adjunct faculty at the College of St. Catherine where I trained teacher candidates for Montessori certification. 

The Montessori upper elementary community helps children discover their potential through independent thinking, self-discovery, peer collaboration, and social responsibility. 

 I am a passionate gardener, bird feeder, feather collector, voracious reader. and avid belly dancer. I love nature walks, forests, rivers, drumming, jazz music, and journaling. But above all I cherish my big, boisterous family and my Irish ancestry.
