Ms. Lisa

Hello! My name is Lisa McQuiston and I am a Children’s House teacher at JJ Hill Montessori. You and your child are welcome to call me Lisa. I started my teaching career in 2010 and have been at JJ Hill since 2017. I have a Master of Arts in Teaching and AMS Montessori certification.  

I grew up in Portland, Oregon, and have also lived in Chicago and San Francisco. I currently live in Minneapolis with my husband and children. I love: spending time with my family, drinking coffee, walking by the lakes in Minneapolis, reading, downhill skiing, and traveling.  

I believe that education is a partnership between families and teachers and that the best way to help a child is when we work together.  I strive to create a classroom where all children feel welcome and seen for who they are and the talents and joys that they bring to our classroom. I’m proud to be a part of the amazing JJ Hill Montessori community.
